We never set out to land in a state where platforms are on different versions, and bringing consoles up to speed is actually our largest Armello-related priority right now. Howdy! First of all, thank you for keeping a cool head in what I understand is a bummer of a situation. I only option I see for players like me is to move over to Steam, but I don't feel I should have to buy the game and all DLC for a 3rd time, besides, I've missed years worth of events for exclusive dice which I've earned (or paid for) on other platforms and will loose my PVP rank (which I've now built up twice!).Īs a dev myself, I honestly think the studio should offer either an account-transfer scheme (even if this has to be done manually) or at least compensation (Steam keys) to help restore faith in the studio (along with future projects) for a large-chunk of their fan base. Even if it does *eventually* make it's way over, it still seems like all other versions are just a faded shadow of the Steam version and I no longer feel comfortable sinking more money into the franchise. I was actually really disappointed to see the dragon clan DLC as I knew it wasn't going to come to either of the editions I'd sunk time and money into which really doesn't feel fair. The app was never updated, there was never another event afterwards, despite the constant additions and updates to the Steam version.

Initially it definitely appeared to be, there was an event on to collect limited-edition dice and so again, I sunk a lot of time and money into the app. A couple of years ago, being fed up with the lack of support for the PS4 version, I thought I'd instead sink time into the Android version as I assumed it'd be better supported. I was disappointed that gradually over time it was becoming obvious that support for the console versions was nowhere near as strong as the Steam version, but I figured they would catch up. I initially purchased Armello on the PS4, played it daily for a long time, excitedly purchased all the DLC and worked towards a platinum trophy. I absolutely loved Armello and have raved about it to everyone for years, was really keen to support the devs, but over the last couple of years my feelings have definitely shifted.
